Tips on Ironing

You are not alone! Many people who do not like ironing.
Always remember:

Many items that can be taken from the clothesline and folded or hung directly without having to be ironed
Buying fabric that can be hung while still wet will reduce the need for ironing
Using fabric softener in the final rinse cycle of the washing makes things easier ironed

General tips for ironing:

-Follow Handling clothing label directions carefully
-Remember That it takes time to change the air temperature after you change the settings. The indicator light will illuminate when the proper temperature is reached
-When lowering the heat setting, wait until the lights on and off before ironing clothes
- In order not to ironing at a temperature higher than that corresponding to the clothes, the clothes separated into groups of linen, cotton, and synthetic
-Set Board to synthetic, and synthetic iron pile. Raise the temperature to the cotton setting for cotton clothes, etc.. Thus, you will raise the iron heat slowly and do not need to wait for the temperature to fall. This approach minimizes the risk of ironing clothes at a temperature that is too hot.
-Do Iron over sharp objects like zippers or buttons.
How to prevent the onset of former luster and iron:

Use the ironing board with good cushioning (especially for wool)
Iron on the inside whenever possible. Always ironing delicate fabrics on the inside with a low temperature setting.
Use upholstery as clean pillowcase. For certain fabrics, such as wool, use steam or press with a slightly damp cloth upholstery, and press a little.
Guide temperatures for different fabrics:

Cotton: Iron in slightly damp conditions on the outside with hot temperatures.
Linen: Iron in moist on the inside first, then iron the outside to make it look shiny, especially linens and brightly colored Damascus. For dark-colored linen, ironing only the inside.
Silk: Iron in slightly damp conditions on the outside with warm temperatures
Wool (knitted): Turn the garment and press in a dry or nearly dry conditions on the inside with warm temperatures or steam
Wool (woven): Press the dry conditions in the exterior with a cloth so as not to scorch the coating using a warm temperature or steam
Acrylic: If necessary, tap on the inside with a cool temperature. Do not use steam or damp cloth.
Nylon or Polyester: Iron in almost dry conditions, on the inside of the cold temperature so as not shiny
Acetate: Iron in humid conditions, on the inside of the cold temperature

Caring for electric irons

You also have to take care of electric irons. How:
Keep penyetrika surface with special cleaning base plate (available at hardware stores)
If you use a steam iron, clean the rest of the minerals that can cause brown stains
If you use starch clothes, ironing clothes starched quickly. Do not use the temperature is too hot, or the starch will be burnt and stuck to the bottom of the board
If synthetic fabrics such as nylon inadvertently melted into the base plate, do not let cool air because the melt will harden! Set the thermostat to hot; and carefully use a soft cloth to clean the paper is melted. Furthermore, when the surface of the ironing board wipe warmer. Because the board must be hot, be careful when doing this process.
