How to repair Electric Iron

In general, electric iron parts are easily damaged, among others:
1 heating element,
2 Wire interface,
3.Terminal,
4 Plugs,
5. thermostat,

The way the repairs are:
1 Examination of an open relationship,
Use a multimeter, set it on a scale Rx1k. Pull the plug from the source plane. Measure the plug ujung2 of aircraft with a multimeter. If the multimeter shows an infinite price, meaning open circuit, but if the multimeter shows a certain price up to a few pounds, there is a closed current loop. Should occur if the closed circuit heat registers flatiron played.
2 Examination of the agency relationship,
Use AVO, set on RX1 scale. Disconnect the plug from the source plane. Measure between one end of the plug with the contacts on the fuselage. If the multimeter shows infinite price, meaning no body circuit occurs, but if the multimeter shows a certain price, meaning it comes in contact with the fuselage. Iron must be dismantled to examine the cause of the agency circuited.
The next step, if the iron does not work possible causes are:
a. There is no voltage, check the power cord, plug, and socket.
b. Cable plug is damaged, check the cable; replace if damaged.
c. Element is damaged, check with a multimeter; replace if damaged.
d. Thermostat loose contact, check the thermostat, contact mechanism; replace if damaged.
